Default HoM Title?

I would like to know which Title is the easiest to try and obtain.

Lol I'm trying to get the 10 and 11 point in the HoM thing (the Flaming sword and Diamond shield, Any thing more than that just seems like to much grind for me) and just need 2 more points to get them .

And I don't have any titles and was wondering which one would probably be the easiest to get.

This is bit of a subjective thing, and there's at least one HoM guide thread floating around already, but if you only need one or two points:

1. Dedicate any one mini for one point. Another point for a rare mini, a 3rd point for a unique.

2. Dedicate any hero armor for one point. Any pet for another, a rare pet for a 3rd. Two more points for a total of 5 such dedications.

3. Several options under Honor; there's good value in getting at least 5 titles for 8 points. Most are achieved by simply playing through the game, but if you can't be bothered even doing that: titles like r2 Lucky/Unlucky, r5 Kurzick/Luxon and Sorrow's Furnace or Fissure Of Woe can all be achieved relatively quickly.

Definitely do a few protector titles, or buy a few Hero armors.

Good luck.

Ya, I just finished the prophecies campaign, I didn't get any title for it so now I'm trying to go through it and do all the bonuses I missed.. a lot of them it seems lol.

Again thanks for the info ! I was more expecting to get flamed than any thing else lol

Out of curiosity, did you do Sorrow's Furnace yet? It counts as a statue on the same monument as the titles one. I did it with henchmen only and I'm quite new to the game, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

I didn't get a point from the HoM just for finishing prophecies. And no, I don't know where Sorrow's Furnace is at, or the Fissure Of Woe either.

Edit: I'm an Idiot. lol I forget to set it in the HoM. WOOT! got my shield and sword now!

Now to try and get all the other campaigns done with lol.

Thank you again for the Advice!

Edit2: Another Question I have, If I use my Prophecies character to run Factions and Night fall will I be able to get a stature for those as well, or do I have to make a new guy for each campaign?

You can play through the other campaigns with that same character and still get the statue in your HoM.

However, HoM points are account-wide, so if you do do stuff with another character, it still counts.

Finish all the elite missions. They take less time than any Protector and definitely Guardian.

Thanks. I knew the HoM was account wide though

I'm sorry, I don't know what the "elite missions" are. Is that hard mode?

elite mission are not hard mode--but close enough without being hard mode--they include The deep, Urgoz warden, Domain of Anguish....if you have not finished factions or nightfall (where those are located), dont worry about it yet.
Sorrows furnace is located in the southern shiverpeaks---west of the granite citadel..

these will also give you a statue in the HoM which is why they were suggested. Sorrow's furnace is pretty easy--though a fun time, the deep and urgoz have 12 people parties, and Doa is pretty hard for newer peoples (I still have problems--it helps to have some pretty specific builds--)

of those I would say you could do sorrows pretty easily .....and still very enjoyable to do.

The only hard part about Sorrow's Furnace is Alkar's quest.
He can be a pain in the butt to defend without a decent setup.

My main is a MM Necro, (or my version of it lol) so as long as I got Fleshies around me, I tend to do pretty good.

If your interested in getting to 30/50 for Hom, please take the time to read the HoM guide stickied in the forum. It has lots of hints, tips and shows ways of building points in the HoM

I've read it.. several times lol (and again before posting this). The only thing I actually understand from that is, Have Tons of cash, and Play play and play.

Actually getting to 30 wasn't that bad, ok I had a couple of advantages due to having played the game for 5 years and having multiple characters I had a fair number of minipets.
Cash around 800k and a fair bit of alcohol from never having drunk anything I gained.

Decided the titles I was closest to where getting the masters in all the missions I was missing around 12 across all three games.
Got them first then started doing the war in kryta for weapons and zaishen quests, also did all nicholas quests for the rewards

Started getting elite armours going for the easiest and cheapest first.
Got the phoenix and Black moa animal companions and entered them into the hom along with anything else that was easy to get.
Managed a few hero armours but found that a little boring.

Well anyway I made it to 31 points and the only real grind part was extensive feather farming to replace the money spent on elite armour.
I have 5 titles in all just enough really to get past 30 hom pts.

If I didn't have around 30 minis to start with I would have had to really work at it, glad I am the sort of player that hoards things.
Only real money I spent was in getting the elite armours.

Actually, this particular quest is relatively hard simply because you have to be in two places at the same time. It's a matter of group setup if you are with heroes or human players, but it's also doable with only henchmen if you flag them with Alkar and you solo pull the groups (and run away afterwards), triggering the patrols.

Elite missions are Sorrow's Furnance in Prophecies, Urgoz's Warren and The Deep in Factions, Domain of Anguish in Nightfall. With the exception of Domain of Anguish all can reached in the middle of the campaign.
